At the SW Yiradyuri Nursery at 96 Gap Road, we grow Australian native plants and deliver expert native flora services grounded in Yiradyuri cultural knowledge and generations of custodianship of this Country. We support farmers, land managers, researchers and businesses across the Riverina to work with native flora the way it has always been worked with here, respectfully, sustainably, and with the knowledge of the people who have cared for this Country since time immemorial
Every plant we select is matched to what genuinely belongs on this Country, drawing on Yiradyuri knowledge of Original Biodiversity rather than a generic native palette.

We cultivate and supply native fruits, seeds, herbs and botanicals for the food, beverage and skincare industries, sourced and grown under cultural protocols overseen by our Elders and senior knowledge holders. We are currently researching new commercial applications for a traditional food and fibre plant unique to our Country, in partnership with a university research team.

We hold and share cultural knowledge of plants traditionally used by Yiradyuri people, supporting research and Indigenous-led initiatives. We work closely with community and Elders to ensure this knowledge is shared ethically and with appropriate cultural protocols, and we welcome enquiries from researchers and organisations seeking to partner with us on this work.
We are currently undertaking research and development into a traditional food and fibre plant unique to our Country, recognising traditional plant knowledge while exploring what commercial opportunities exist, in partnership with food scientists from an Australian university. This sits alongside our broader research work with universities, agricultural experts, and businesses, focused on:

We have commenced seed collection across our 700 acre property at 96 Gap Road, which support a diverse range of native flora including threatened species. This seed collection and storage program supports both conservation and commercial projects, and directly feeds our own cultural burn recovery and revegetation work on Country.
